Privacy Notice

  1. Respecting privacy rights

We’re committed to collecting and using personal information (Any information relating to a living individual as a means to identify them) in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Wherever we collect or use this information, we’ll make sure we do this for a valid legal reason. This will be for at least one of the following purposes:

  • to arrange or manage your holiday booking or related service

  • to meet responsibilities we have to regulators, tax officials, law enforcement, or otherwise meet our legal responsibilities

  • to operate and improve our products and services and keep people informed about our products and services or for any other purposes we identify as relevant to further our business interests but never at the expense of your privacy rights (we refer to these activities as our legitimate interests)

  • where we have obtained appropriate consents to collect or use your personal information for a particular purpose

2. What information do we collect?

If you choose to make a booking through us or make queries about a potential booking, we will collect details that you provide in relation to that booking or query. Information held is likely to include your name, contact details, payment details, date of birth, information about people travelling with you, information about your booking and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific requirements.

3. How do we use your information?

The information you provide or which we collect may be used in a number of ways, for example:

  • to enable us to complete your booking (if you are booking a holiday);

  • for statistical purposes when we evaluate our range of services;

  • to personalise repeat visits to our websites or inform you about an incomplete booking;

  • to tell you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you;

  • to manage customer service queries; and

  • to help us to provide details or information you may have requested.

Marketing and marketing preferences

We may use personal information to send direct marketing communications about our services that we feel you’ll be interested in by email or post.

To protect your privacy rights and give customers choice and control over the use of their personal information, you can:

always ‘opt out’ of receiving direct marketing when registering with us, requesting an online quote, purchasing a product or service online at any time. All our marketing communications include unsubscribe links to help you manage your marketing preferences.

Marketing and customer insights

We carry out customer insight analysis from our interactions with you to help improve our products and services, and keep you informed about offerings that may be of interest to you

Information about other individuals

Most of the information we collect relates to the person booking the holiday. We may also ask for information about other guests if we need it (e.g. Age). If you provide us with information about someone else, we’ll assume that you have their permission. We’ll process their personal information according to this Privacy Policy so please encourage them to read it if they want to find out more.

4. Who will you share my information with?

We will not share your details with any third parties however we may also use and disclose your personal data without your permission in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, to legal and taxation authorities, to prevent crime and in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

5. How do you manage my information?

We may from time to time appoint third party service providers, to help us manage efficient systems within the business. Some of these systems may for operational reasons be located in countries overseas including the USA.

6. How long will we hold your information for?

We have a retention period in place to ensure that your information is only stored whilst it is required for the relevant purposes or to meet legal requirements. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of or deleted in a secure manner.

7. Your rights

You have the right to ask us at any time:-

  • to confirm whether we hold any of your personal data;

  • to send you a copy of any personal data that we hold about you;

  • to correct any inaccuracies in your personal data and to add relevant details where the personal data we hold is incomplete;

  • to delete (to the extent possible) any of your personal data, where we are required by law to do so;

  • to stop processing your personal data, where we are required by law to do so;

  • to let you have a portable copy of the personal data we hold about you, where we are required by law to do so;

  • to stop processing any of your personal data that we process on the basis of our legitimate interests; and

  • to stop sending you marketing material. However please note that we may continue to send you service related (i.e. non-marketing) communications, such as email updates

We do not process your data automatically for decision making processes.

We do not use your personal data for the purpose of profiling.

Where we process your personal data on the basis that you have given us your consent to do so then you may contact us at any time to withdraw your consent

We keep our privacy notice under regular review and we will place any updates on our webpage.
